Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 - PFW

Merging together a typically male aesthetic with a specifically female one is a very popular thing on the Fall/Winter 2013 season runways, and Giambattista Valli is showcasing his own approach of the concept. The designer’s version doesn’t however imply men’s suits or checked patterns, focusing instead on an urban feel, which Valli sweetens with romantic details, such as in the case of vests or parkas worn over delicately draped fluid silk dresses.  Metallic shine, on coats, dresses, skirts or sweaters, along with fur accents on collars, necklines, sleeves, belts or in the form of luxurious coats, provided the collection with an extra dose of glamour." - fashionavecpassion.com
